The Toad Native was founded in 2022 by Chris Marckel. A lover of nature, he has been growing native plant species around his backyard and Middleton community for many years.
His goal is to spread his knowledge of native plants to his fellow Madison-area residents.
The first Toad Native plant sale took place on July 15, 2023.
The Toad Native has since moved locations, and all sales have been put on pause until the operation can get up and running again.
